My 2008 2.5i has an air leak in the driver's window If i put my finger in the top right corner if the glass itself i can seal this sound out. It's a hissing/sizzling sound, it's obviously air passing between the rubber seals at about 75 mph and it comes from the front corner close to the mirror.below that speed i never hear it.
Quick and easy solution to leaky and nosiy subaru window seal At freeway speeds i get excessive air noise from the small fixed window next to the rear view mirror on my passenger side Won't fix it forever but easy to repeat.

One method to fix the air leak in a subaru window gusset
On my '90 legacy i would stick a pen up between the window and the gasket in the center of the top of the glass On my '03 outback i had to put the drivers window down, open the door and bend the black triangle that the mirror is on toward the car I rode in my mother's '02 outback and found the same noise I fixed hers the same way.
Hello, the gusset (small triangle front rubber) of my right frontwindow of my forester '99 leaks air, so a hissing noise is heard at highway speed When i push the gusset (from inside ofcourse) against the window the windnoise disappears So this rubber doesn't fit right anymore
